This is pretty surprising coming from Callie, of all people. Though I won't personally complain. I have noticed an incredible overabundance of them on this site.
Has the blacklisted subjects section been updated to reflect this?
Pretty much I had ninja'd her, including making a thread. But after she read it, she said that it was a "wall-of-text", and told to close it.
cant they be like mlp extra charecters? maybe like a pony eating spike or a cannibel glida
The article would still be classified as an MLP pasta, despite of what character you use from the show. If it's about two different characters from the show, then it wouldn't be allowed. You are more welcome to use the Blacklist Appeal to appeal for your MLP pasta to be on here.
"MLP blacklist" means that any pasta involving any amount of any characters from MLP in any context is no longer allowed on this site. Has nothing whatsoever to do with the Mane 6. That includes fan characters and original series that take place in the MLP universe. Anything that is at all MLP-related needs to be posted on the MLP wiki or go through the Blacklist Appeal process.
Goddammit, the creepypasta community is getting more and more repressive over little things. Not saying I think this idea is bad becuase us bronies can get out of hand but this really isn't the solution.
Honestly, I would kind of agree with you, in that I don't like how often things get blacklisted here. But, the staff have gotten better with making it clear that blacklisted stories still CAN go through the Blacklist Appeal (which didn't used to exist as a proper section) and campaign for being posted.
Also, this one's a bit of a special case because there's a whole wiki dedicated to MLP pastas, so it's not like banning them on this site is eliminating the last place to post them, as was the case with Sonic.exe.
This wiki is a place where blacklisted subjects from Creepypasta Wiki go. Now we need a wiki that allows blacklisted subjects from Spinpasta Wiki.
Spinpasta Wiki 2 - COMING SOON!
Make it happen.
You know, crazy as it sounds, I actually have been considering this possibility. An "Anypasta" Wiki (or something to that effect, anyway) with no real blacklists or Quality Standards. It would be a place that even Spinpasta-blacklisted pastas could be posted, but the tradeoffs are a weaker community, and pastas would most likely be buried in crap pretty quickly. I'll have to ask around about whether it might be a worthwhile endeavor or not.
