Hans was only ten years of age when his father was brutally murdered on duty by a felon who had beaten him over the head with a spiked baseball bat. His father, Lukas, was a State Trooper of New Jersey. Hans was a sweet child for his age, as he would always respect his mother. But, after hearing about his father’s death, he developed severe depression. He had slightly short but not too short blackish-brown hair. He had brown eyes, as well. His father would always take him hunting, which allowed Hans to be able to access a large arsenal of weapons, mostly knives, as his father was cautious with guns and would never let his son touch one.

As he grew older, he began hearing voices, akin to his father’s. Hans would always seek comfort by talking to his mother, Katherine. Katherine was a young mother, thirty-one years of age, and she was formerly married. Katherine became concerned, and sent him away to a Psychiatrist for three days. After the three days, he was sent home with prescription medication for both his depression and the mental problem that he was diagnosed with, schizophrenia. This was very hard for Hans’ mother to deal with, as she had never put up with something like this before, so she made sure that every day he would take both his anti-depression pills and his schizophrenia pills. One day, Hans was reading a book on his bed as he gradually lost interest in using the computer.

“Hans! Guess what?” Katherine yelled from downstairs.

“What?” Hans quietly said.

“Hans?” Katherine asked.

“What?” Hans repeated, this time louder.

“Come downstairs and I’ll show you!” she yelled.

Hans groaned, as he dragged himself out of bed and put on some jeans along with a t-shirt. He topped it off with a black sweatshirt, and kept the hood down. He walked out of his room and down the stairs. As he reached the final stair, a man popped out of nowhere and made a screeching noise. Hans fell back, and fell down. He hit his head on the stair, and groaned in pain.

“Oh, shit, I’m sorry, little dude,” said the man.

“Who are you?” Hans asked. He had his eyes shut from the intense stabbing feeling in his head.

“I’m Alexander. I’m your mother’s boyfriend,” replied Alex.

“That’s great to hear,” Hans said. His voice was tense, and he didn’t sound very happy. His eyes were open now, as he stared into the Alex’s eyes. Hans noticed that he looked off. His hair was ruffled and looked absolutely obscene, as if he woke up on the wrong side of the bed. It was a weird, dirty blonde color. Absolutely disgusting. He looked like he was forty, but in reality, the man was thirty years old. His eyes were a bright baby blue, probably the only decent looking thing on this thing that he could call a living person. Alex stopped paying attention to Hans for the time being, and went into the garage without saying anything. Such an odd character. Katherine came out from the laundry room, and confronted Hans, who was now standing up on the last stair, holding the back of his head in pain.

“You’ll find some way to like him, I can already tell he isn’t your cup of tea,” Katherine said.

“There’s something off about him,” Hans said.

“He’s severely bipolar. He’s like you, riddled with mental issues,” Katherine replied.

“Yeah, but I don’t act like a total nutcase unless my schizophrenia acts up,” Hans said.

“Alright, alright, just go easy on him. It’s only the first day,” Katherine said.

Hans went back upstairs, and he lay on his bed. He did not bother to pick up the book once again. He stared into the ceiling, until he heard a voice.

“Hans,” the voice called out, an echo following it.

“Huh?” Hans replied. He looked in the direction where the voice came from.

“Hans, that man is evil,” the voice said.

“Who? What are you talking about? Who is this?” Hans asked.

“I am talking to you about Alexander,” the voice answered.

“But who the fuck are you?!” Hans asked, his voice became raspy. Hans never raised his voice.

“Lukas,” the voice answered.

Hans was stunned. It couldn’t be Lukas. Lukas has been dead for four years.

“That man was the man who killed me. You cannot look at him as a fatherly figure, Hans, because if you do, that would be an act against me. You wouldn’t want to make your father despise you, would you?” the voice said.

“N-No. But. I can’t do anything about it,” Hans replied.

“Yes you can,” the voice said.

“W-Well, you’d better tell me, because you know that I love you, and I miss you,” Hans said.

“Kill him,” the voice said. “You must do it, it is the only way that I will be satisfied.”

“K-Kill… him?” Hans asked.

“Yes, kill him,” the voice replied.

“Well… I can’t right now,” Hans said.

“It’s okay. You have all the time in the world. You’re only halfway into your summer vacation, you can do this,” the voice said.

“I guess you’re right, thanks, Dad,” Hans said.

“You’re welcome son. I love you,” the voice said.

“I love you too. I miss you,” Hans replied.

The voice did not respond, and he came back into reality.

“Hans? Who are you talking to up there?” Katherine yelled from downstairs.

“N-Nobody, Ma!” Hans yelled back down.

“Alright, come back down, it's time for dinner,” Katherine said.

Hans went back downstairs, and sat down at the table. His mother lay a plate of pork chops in the center of the rectangular table. Katherine sat down, took a fork, and stabbed one of the pork chops that were on the plate. She lifted it up with the fork, and put it on her own plate.

“Do you want any, Pumpkin?” Katherine asked.

“No, I’m not hungry,” Hans answered.

“Oh come on, you haven’t eaten all day,” Katherine said.

“No,” Hans simply said.

“What’s gotten into you? Ever since you laid eyes upon Alex you’re acting all out of proportion,” Katherine said.

“Well, wouldn't you be pretty upset if a guy that you never met before jumped out in front of you and scared the living sh…” Hans cut himself off.

“Living what?” Katherine asked.

“The living shingles out of you?” Hans answered.

“Alright, for a second I thought you were going to say a swear word at my table,” Katherine said. She chuckled slightly.

Alex opened up the door in the garage leading into the house, and walked to the seat at the end of the table.

“What were you doing out there, Hun?” Katherine asked.

“None of your business,” Alex said.

“None of my business? I’m your girlfriend, this is all of my business. What were you doing out there?”

“Nothing, stop fucking bugging me,” Alex said.

“Hey, we don’t use that kind of language in this household,” Katherine raised her voice at Alex.

“Don’t raise your fucking voice at me!” Alex yelled.

“Why? You’re using your illness as an excuse to harass people!” Katherine yelled.

“Fuck you, and as a matter of fact, fuck this house. Do you know how much money I make a week?” Alex asked.

“That is so irrelevant to the argument!” Katherine yelled.

“You work at the fucking pharmacy, I’m making more money than you in a week than what you bring home in a fucking month, that’s why you’re living in this pile of shit you call a house!” Alex screamed.

Hans was staring at Alex the entire time that this occurred. He did not want to speak up, or else that would get him in a scuffle. Alex acknowledged this, and turned his head towards Hans. His baby blue eyes stared into Hans’ dark brown eyes.

“What the fuck are you looking at, you little punk?” Alex asked.

Hans was shocked by this, and he couldn’t take his eyes off of Alex’s eyes. The insult had sent him into a degree of shock to the point where he couldn’t gain the courage to reply to what Alex had asked him.

“Don’t you dare get him involved in this!” Katherine yelled at Alex. She stood up from her seat and pointed at Alex.

“Step off, bitch,” Alex replied.

“In my world, looking at someone straight in the eye means you are challenging them, are you challenging me?” Alex asked.

Hans still hadn’t gathered up the courage to answer his question, and when he did, a blow was delivered straight to his face. The blow was so powerful, that Hans fell out of his seat and he was left lying on the ground. His first instinct was to cry, but instead, he curled up into a ball, and cried into his knees.

“Oh my god!” Katherine called out. “Look what you’ve done!”

“That should keep your eyes shut, you little fucker,” Alex said.

“Go upstairs! Now!” Katherine yelled at Alex.

Alex looked at Katherine, and went upstairs.

Katherine stepped away from her seat, and kneeled down on the side of Hans.

“Are you okay, sweetheart? Speak to me, Pumpkin!” Katherine called out.

“I-I’m fine, I’m alright,” Hans said. Hans felt as if he had been hit with a blunt object, and he felt dizzy.

“Okay, just… stay here. I’m going to talk to Alex and try to calm him down,” Katherine assured Hans.

Hans nodded to his mother, who had got up from the kneeling position and went upstairs.

“This is it, kid,” said a voice. “This is your chance.”

Hans knew what he ultimately had to do, so he got up from the ground, and went into the basement where his father’s office was. Hans went to a cabinet and opened it, revealing an arsenal of weapons, small knives, medium-sized knives, and large Bowie knives. Hans observed them momentarily, before choosing upon one of the medium sized knives that his father hand-crafted with a rubber grip. Hans then went back upstairs, and went to the door leading to the garage. He opened it, and observed. There was one car that was obviously his mother’s, but then another car that he had never seen before. He assumed this was Alexander’s, and went up to the back door. He opened it, and hid behind the driver’s seat. Hans knew this plan was going to work, but little did he know the dangers that lie ahead of him. As Hans waited, it soon became night, and he could hear his mother from the inside crying to Alex.

Inside, Katherine was crying.

“My baby ran away! You monster! He must’ve ran away because of you!” Katherine accused Alex.

“Me? You’re using me as a fucking scapegoat?” questioned Alex.

“Yes! You have to go find him!” Katherine demanded.

“I’ll do it tomorrow, I’m too tired,” Alex said.

“No, now!” Katherine yelled.

“Step the fuck off, I said tomorrow, and that’s it,” Alex said.

Hans became tired, and soon fell into a deep sleep.

Hans woke up to the sound of a car starting up. He could hear Alex’s breathing in the car as he backed up out of the driveway and onto the road. Hans could barely see from out the window the house that they lived in. A small two story house in the middle of the woods, with chopped up wood from his father that both he and his mother had been using for the fireplace in front of the house. Hans looked at it for one last time, as he knew that if he were caught, he would never see this place ever again. As Alex drove, he drove recklessly. He shrieked and nearly startled Hans.

“Shit! I ran over that cat! Fuck! Fuck!” Alex yelled to himself.

This only drove Hans’ anger more.

“This is it kiddo, make your father proud one last time.”

Hans nodded in the direction where the voice came from, and sat up in the back seat. It took Alex a couple of minutes to realize that Hans was sitting in the back seat, startled, he screamed, but he was cut off as Hans put his hand around the seat and covered Alex’s mouth to silence him. His other hand came around the other side of the seat. Alex cried as he saw that the other hand had a knife in it. Hans put the knife to Alex’s neck, and pulled himself close enough to whisper into his ear.

“Kill my father, shame on me, harass my mother, shame on you,” Hans whispered.

Hans pressed the tip of the blade into Alex’s throat, and began sawing away at his Adam’s apple. As he cut, Alex’s muffled turned into gasps for air as Hans continued to saw away at his throat, blood squirting out onto the windshield as he cut through major arteries and veins. Hans cringed at the sight, but he continued to do so, until he reached bone. At this point, Alex was surely dead, but little did Hans know that the car was still moving. Hans was going to reach for the wheel, but then it happened.

The car made a head on collision with a tree. Smoke was coming out from under the hood of the car, and Alex’s body was shot out of the windshield and pressed up against the tree, leaving a mass of blood on the hood of the car. Hans was in the back seat up against the back of the driver’s seat. He seemed unaffected, except for the fact that he was unconscious.

Hans then regained consciousness, and looked around. All of the windows were shattered, and his arms and hands were riddled with cuts and bruises from glass and other debris. Hans then looked to his left, and saw a very eerie sight. He was staring at a man, paler than the moon, and he had no facial features. No eyes, no nose, no mouth, no ears, no hair, nothing. The man was very tall as well, and was fitted with a black suit and tie, with a white undershirt, as well as black dress pants and black dress shoes. Hans had the urge to scream, but couldn’t, something was restraining him. Tendrils emerged from the back of the tall man, and they ripped the back car door off, leaving Hans exposed. Hans was then forcefully ripped from his seat, tearing the seat belt with ease, and then Hans went unconscious again.

Deadhead

The entity seen by Hans that was speaking German.

Hans woke up to another Eerie sight. He was in a dark room, bound to a chair. He had all of his clothes on, luckily, as Hans expected to be tortured or humiliated. Out of the darkness came out something not of this earth, something not human. The figure was completely black, and had a human skull for a face. The figure attempted to speak to Hans, but Hans could not comprehend what he was saying, as he was speaking in German. Then, a similar entity came out from the darkness wearing something similar to glasses, and it had long hair. The entity began speaking English.

“Hello there,” it said.

“Where am I?” Hans asked.

“You are in the realm of The Collective,” it answered.

“What is The Collective? What do you mean realm? Let me go!” Hans demanded, he was confused, scared, and he wanted to see his mother, most of all.

“We are a group of proxies that serve under The Administrator, the man that had picked you up after you had done whatever you did,” it answered. “You are in an alternate dimension, specifically for us, and now that you’re here, you’ll be one of us.”

INTERRUPTION

INTERRUPTION

Video showing the capabilities of The Observer, how he can view you from anywhere, and much more.

“What? I don’t want to look like you!” Hans cried.

“The change has already been made, look at yourself,” it replied.

Hans looked at his hand and it was a shade of black. The entity was right.

“You will be serving under me as an apprentice until you mature enough to become a full proxy, do you understand?” it asked.

“Y-Yes, I do,” Hans replied.

“What is your name?” it asked.

“Hans,” he answered.

“Your last name, I mean,” it replied.

“Wulf,” Hans said.

“Then that is your official name, Wulf,” it said.

“What about you? What is your name?” Hans asked.

INTERRUPTION

The Observer.

“Me? My name is The Observer, but you may refer to me as your mentor, as I am the one guiding you through the path of becoming a proxy,” The Observer answered.

“Okay,” Hans replied.

"Also, those voices you were hearing in your head were actually me. I have been spectating you since birth. I was the one who had told you to kill that man, only so you could prove your worthiness of becoming a proxy to The Administrator."

“Okay, my mentor, can you get me out of this chair, please?” Hans asked.

“Yes, I will do that momentarily, but I ask one favor of you before I do,” The Observer said.

“What?” Hans asked.

“Bring your mother back to this realm,” The Observer said.

Before Hans could even reply, The Observer put his hand out, and put it on Hans’ forehead, and everything went white.

Last known photo of Hans

The photo paper clipped to the envelope.

At home, Katherine was crying into the palms of her hands as she sat down in the living room. She had just been told by a police officer that her boyfriend was involved in a car accident, but he was killed before the crash had even happened. She had just came back from the police department, and on the news, they were discussing how Hans had gone missing, and how his disappearance is somehow linked to the murder of Alexander. Katherine was interrupted from her mourning as she heard footsteps from upstairs in her room.

She became suspicious of the footsteps, and began walking upstairs. She walked into her room, and the footsteps stopped. She looked around, and noticed an envelope with a picture paper clipped to it. The picture was of Hans with a knife by his mouth, but his skin tone was different, his hood was up, and it was a completely different color. Another thing was how his eyes stood out from everything in the photo. She opened the envelope and began reading.

Dear Mother,

I hate to break it to you, but it was me who had murdered Alexander. I could not stand him anymore, I hated how he treated you, and my schizophrenia even agreed with me that he needed to be punished in the highest degree. I had to put an end to it before he touched you. I practically took a bullet for you yesterday, because if he hit you, I would’ve killed him right there. I hope you can find it in your heart to forgive me.

With love, Hans.

P.S, Look behind you.

Symbol

Two eyes intersecting, also known as The Observer symbol.

The message was ended with a weird looking symbol, two eyes intersecting. When she finished the last line, she turned around to see a black entity, but it resembled Hans. His facial features were akin to Hans’. The black entity opened up its arms as if it was going to embrace her, and Katherine thought he was going to as well. So, she allowed him to embrace her, and everything went white.

Cousins of the Wulf family called the Wulf household attempting to get in contact with either Hans or Katherine. Nobody responded. Police conducted investigations, and had confirmed that Hans was the one who had murdered Alexander, and had made the assumption that he had also killed his mother, Katherine. After all was said and done, the remaining members of the Wulf family mourned over an empty casket funeral for Katherine, while there was a closed casket funeral for Alex. The two were buried next to each other in the same cemetery. As this all went on, in the woods surrounding the cemetery, Hans, or Wulf was snickering to himself. His mother, Katherine, was also snickering to herself. She too was a black entity. Behind them, standing tall, was The Administrator, who was overseeing everything happening. While The Observer was standing close to the funeral, but not too close to be seen, looking for the next person to become one to serve under The Administrator.

(Note to reader: If you haven’t figured it out by now, The Administrator is the Slenderman.)
